Katie, DTS 2002-2003

"Adventures await us all, challenging us to abandon the familiar, while beckoning us to traverse the unknown. My DTS was one such experience, as I embarked on a journey into the Potential and Resources of Heaven, guided by Father's Heart, Glory, and unsearchable Love for all nations. Having only a vision in my heart for the Arab world, this DTS far exceeded my expectations, as I entered into the lives and cultures of these precious people. While on outreach in the M.E., my heart was truly broken for the multitudes, engulfed in a sea of demonic oppression, gasping for the Breath of Life. I saw the tears of the oppressed, yet they have no Comforter.

Sympathy is no substitute for action. Satan's lies prevail because the Church has cowered in fear. The Battle is raging for souls.....Heaven is longing to release the Rains of Revival over this region. Father is calling, waiting for vessels that He can flow through. I realized that life is a futile, laborious doing of nothing, if I am not living for the Cause of Christ that now burns as a fire in my bones. The opportunities in YWAM are endless, and Cyprus is a strategic place, for this strategic time of Harvest in the Arab World. The experienced and anointed leadership were living Epistles, as they walked in the Power of Christ's Character and the Fear of the Lord. I can reccommend this DTS to anyone who desires to be on the Frontlines of taking God's Glory and Power into the midst of darkness....
