Jasmine came to our Centre (PCC) at a very early stage of her pregnancy. She had come to Cyprus as a foreign student from a country where abortion is very common. During our meeting with her she was still fighting thoughts about having an abortion. We told her about different alternatives, including adoption.
Then after meeting with her twice to talk about adoption, she suddenly decided to keep the baby herself. This was a serious decision, because she had to give up her college studies and return to her home country in order to have the baby. We still keep in touch with her.
