Discipleship Training School with a Frontier Missions focus

 

The DTS is more than a program; it is a life-changing experience. Developing your personal relationship with God is a foundational part of the school. In order to make God known to the world around us, we first need to know Him ourselves. Every day you will receive quality input from gifted speakers, participate in dynamic worship, experience deeper fellowship with other believers as you live in Christian community. All these are tools that God will use to develop you, and lead you in His ways.

Additionally, the FM DTS will provide you with an introduction to such topics as how to reach unreached people groups, church planting, evangelism, mobilization, culture and world view, and how to learn a language without books or papers.

 
   
The DTS is:


A 6-month course consisting of 12 weeks of teaching,10 weeks of practical "on-the-field" training and final week de-brief.


An excellent course for those who wish to be equipped to serve God more effectively at home or abroad.
Taught in both Arabic and English, reconciling culture.


It is also the first level of training - opening the door for you to work with YWAM anywhere in the world.
 
Our goal is that you:


Deepen your understanding of the character of God, learn to hear His voice, and develop your own relationship with God


Develop your character, discover your gifts and ministries and practice principles for healthy relationships
Discover, meditate on and apply Biblical truth
Develop a heart for the lost and a vision for influencing society through community development.
Develop an understanding of Middle Eastern Culture
Will be trained in prayer, intercession and spiritual warfare


Identify unrighteous habit patterns and replace them with new ones based on God’s Word

Cost of the school:
All prices are quoted and payable in Euro. Please check these rates against your home currency.

Lecture Phase:
€2300
€1300 for students from The Middle East.
Covers school fees, accommodation and all meals.

Outreach Phase:
€1000 - €2000 depending on the destination.

Visa Information:
Non-European/North American students need to apply by the end of July or you will not be able to obtain a visa and will not be able to enter Cyprus, no acceptions.
